How to Remove Pages from a PDF Online for Free

BrainCoder3 min read

Delete unwanted, blank or duplicate pages from any PDF — quickly, in your browser, with live page previews.

When you need to remove pages

Scans pull in blank pages, submissions include outdated cover pages, and downloaded reports come with an unwanted appendix. Deleting those pages produces a cleaner, smaller file that's ready to send.

It's also safer than re-saving a whole document: the finished file simply no longer contains the pages you removed.

Removing pages with a live preview

The PDF Delete Pages tool renders thumbnails of every page so you can see exactly what you're removing. Click the pages you no longer need, then hit delete — the tool rebuilds the PDF from the pages you kept.

Multi-select, or choose page ranges when you want to drop a contiguous block like an annex.

Getting rid of blank pages too

Blank pages often slip in from double-sided scans or mis-configured exports. The Remove Blank Pages tool detects near-empty pages automatically and strips them out.

Run that first if you're not sure which pages are blank — it keeps the result clean without you hunting through the document manually.

Private, like everything here

Page deletion happens locally with pdf-lib. The pages you remove and the pages you keep never leave your browser, so even sensitive documents can be trimmed safely.
