BrainCoder's Color Converter converts between HEX, RGB, and HSL color formats instantly. Type a hex value like #7C3AED, an RGB value like rgb(124, 58, 237), or an HSL value like hsl(262, 83%, 58%) and watch all three formats update in real time, with a live preview swatch.
It understands the full CSS color syntax: short hex (#f00), long hex (#7C3AED), RGBA with alpha (#7C3AEDFF and rgba(124, 58, 237, 1)), and HSLA. Channel values are clamped automatically — entering rgb(300, 0, 0) corrects to 255 with no errors. Reading a brand color from CSS or Figma and converting it to every format is a two-second job, and every result carries its own one-click copy button.
Validation is forgiving about in-progress input: partially typed values like #7C or hsl(2 simply wait for more characters; only genuinely invalid values such as 'red' or '#ggg' show an error, and the preview swatch always keeps the last valid color on screen. All conversion happens locally in your browser.
