Pick a password, optionally restrict what recipients can do (printing, copying, editing or annotating), and download the encrypted copy. The encryption uses AES-256, the same standard Adobe Acrobat applies to protected documents, and everything happens in your browser — the file and your password never leave your device.
Use it for documents you own or are authorized to protect: quotes, statements, contracts, offer letters and anything where the recipient is known but the channel isn't private. Restrictions like blocking printing are honored by Adobe Acrobat and most desktop readers; some minimal or browser-based viewers ignore them, so treat them as a convenience rather than a hard guarantee.
