Enter the password the file was locked with, and the tool writes an unlocked copy you can open, print and edit anywhere without re-authenticating. The open (user) password and the owner password both work, and files that only restrict printing or copying — rather than opening — can often be unlocked by leaving the password blank.
Decryption happens entirely on your device using the standard PDF algorithms (AES-256 and RC4). The file and password never leave your browser. If the PDF uses an encryption this tool doesn't support yet, like AES-128, you'll be told so honestly — open that one in Adobe Acrobat or Preview with the password instead.
